Joint teams of Jalandhar Rural
Police and Jharkhand Police arrested a wanted CPI-Maoist cadre,
Avidhesh Yadav from Alawalpur locality at Adampur city in Jalandhar
District. Yadav is facing attempt to murder and cases under the
Arms Act. CIA, Punjab Police, head said Jharkhand Police took
Yadav back to Latehar District of Jharkhand.

The Bathinda District Police have booked an unidentified
person for pasting posters of Naxal on the wall of the
District Courts Complex near a local branch of OBC bank in the
city. Police constable Kulwinder Singh, who has lodged a complaint,
has stated that a case has been registered against an unidentified
person for pasting the posters. A case under Sections 124A and
153 A of the IPC has been registered at the Civil Lines Police
station.
