Five cadres of KLO/KLA which is under tripartite SoO pact with the State Government and the Government of India fled from their designated camp taking along with them 10 weapons. The five cadres fled from their Shamusong designated camp located within Saikul sub-division of Senapati District, informed a source.

Police arrested four persons including a juvenile in connection with the recent desertion of five cadres of KNO/KLA along with weapons from the outfit's designated Sinai Camp in Senapati District. A source said that the four persons were arrested by personnel of Imphal Police Station from New Lambulane in New Checkon area in Imphal East District.
