Troops from the Army's Red Shield Division launched
a search operation in Veng in Churachandpur District and arrested
a ZRA cadre, identified as Jampao Guite. According to the sources
the ZRA cadre was arrested from a medical store while demanding
money. A motor cycle, mobile, INR 5,090 in cash and incriminating
documents having financial details of the extortion activity being
carried out by the individual were recovered.
