Islamabad is under severe threat of terrorism
from TTP, LeJ and al Qaeda, a report of the Interior Ministry
presented in the Standing Committee of National Assembly on Interior
revealed. According to the report, Islamabad is the most dangerous
city as the "sleeper cell" of banned TTP, LeJ and al Qaeda are
posing a grave threat to the security of the city.

Two Baloch marchers, 72-year-old Qadeer or "Mama"
Baloch and one Farzana were threatened to return to Balochistan
while they were returning to their place of stay in Islamabad.

The Federal Interior Ministry approved a new security
plan for Islamabad, giving Rangers the responsibility for providing
additional security. The plan, which calls for the Rangers and
Police to conduct joint patrols, should be visible by April 15,
2014 said Federal Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.
Nisar ordered various reforms to implement the strategy, such
as recruiting retired army veterans to join the Police and giving
Police better training.

The HuT has once again started its activities
in Islamabad, with its cadres distributing pamphlets among the
citizens asking them to support the outfit for the establishment
of caliphate in the country. In one of its pamphlets written in
Urdu, the HuT requested the people of Pakistan to ask their relatives
serving in the armed forces to help the organisation achieve its
mission so that the US "meets its doom in the region."

The security of the Federal Capital Islamabad
will be handed over to the Army, Federal Minister of Interior
Chaudhry Nisar said. The Army will take control of Islamabad's
security from August 1 for three months under Article 245 which
states that the Army can be called in to assist civilian administration
in heightening security arrangements.

The Capital Police arrested the owner of the vehicle
used by terrorists in their December 16, 2014, attack on the Army
Public School in Peshawar, said officials. The officials said
the man had been under investigation to determine if he had any
links with terrorists. When contacted, IG of Police Tahir Alam
Khan confirmed that the suspect had been arrested.

As per details, SFs and Police Officers conducted a search operation
