Alert declared in Arunachal Pradesh following security force operations

The State government of Arunachal Pradesh sounded a statewide red alert on December 8, in view of combing operations launched by security forces to nab the terrorists involved in recent massacres in Assam. Announcing this, the Chief Minister stated that all district authorities have been alerted in the state to keep a watch on the situation and be ready to face any eventuality.
