Grenade recovered in Manipur

Kanglaonline reports that Security Forces (SFs) on April 11 recovered and later disused a Chinese made hand grenade from the approach road of Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) Gynae ward and Forensic department in Imphal West District at around 3pm.  

Meanwhile, SFs arrested a cadre of People’s Liberation Army (PLA), identified as Heikrujam Joychandra Singh, on April 10 from Pheidinga Bridge, reports The Sangai Express. He disclosed that he was a cadre of the Military Council faction of the Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP-MC) before he defected to the PLA. He is also said to have disclosed that he is working in the ‘finance section’ of the PLA.
