News24online.com quoting PTI reports
that the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist)
cadres set ablaze five vehicles of a
private road construction company at Dumri
Buzurg village under Nayagaon Police Station
in Saran District on April 15. Deputy Inspector
General (Saran Range), Alok Kumar said around
15 armed Maoists raided the office of the
private road construction firm and set ablaze
four dumpers and another vehicle parked there.
Kumar said non-payment of levy demanded by
the Maoists from the owner of the firm was
probably the reason behind the incident.
