Five ICS cadres arrested in Noakhali District

Five cadres of Islami Chhatra Shibir (ICS), the student wing of Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI), were arrested on charge of vandalising billboards and tearing Awami League (AL) posters in the Noakhali District town on May 13, reports The Daily Star. The arrestees include Abdullah-Al-Masud, secretary of ICS municipal unit, and Fakrul Islam, president of ICS Begumganj sub-District. Police said when the procession was passing the District AL office, some ICS cadres from the procession vandalised billboards and tore AL posters.
