Bangladeshi national arrested in Meghalaya

The Telegraph reports that the Border Security Force (BSF) unit at Bholaganj in East Khasi Hills of Meghalaya arrested one Bangladeshi national, identified as Sujain Hussain, on May 23 along with a country- made wooden boat, worth INR 30,000.  

Meanwhile, Laiman Chandra Rani alias Ibecha Devi, one of the three female cadres of Manipur-based militant outfits arrested from Dawki while they were trying to infiltrate into India from Bangladesh, belong to KYKL, reports The Shillong Times. Two children, Ibngo (7) and Shamila (4) who were accompanying the three cadres were also detained by the BSF. The cadres have confessed that they were returning from their camp based at Khonagaon, Bangladesh and were headed to Manipur. Earlier it was reported that one top People’s Liberation Army (PLA) leader has been arrested along with her two accomplices.
