arrested
a
Jama’atul
Mujahideen
Bangladesh
(JMB)
militant
from
a
rented
house
at
Dashara
village.
He
was
identified
as
Shafiqul
Islam
(26)
of
Salam
Bepari
of
Moamari
village
under
Nageswari
Police
station
in
the
Kurigram
District.
Speaking
to
Daily
Star,
Shafiqul
said
that
he
came
to
the
village
to
spread
the
JMB
ideology
and
recruit
cadres
about
six
months
ago.
Initially
he
was
sheltered
by
a
leader
of
the
Manikganj
District
unit
Jamaat-e-Islami
at
Bewtha
and
later
he
rented
the
house
at
Dashara. |
