the safe release
of two Nagas
held hostage
by Karbi People’s
Liberation
Tigers (KPLT)
on June 10
from a power
project near
Diphu, Karbi
Anglong (Assam). 
Meanwhile, Nationalist Socialist Council of Nagaland-Khaplang
(NSCN-K)
on June 28
informed that
one C. John
Yimchunger,
undersecretary,
NSCN-Khole-Kitovi
has defected
and joined
its fold on
June 21.
