SFs prepare to tackle insurgents leaving Myanmar, says Army

The Sentinel reports that the Indian Army and other Security Forces (SFs) have made preparations to tackle insurgents, who will soon leave some parts of Myanmar. This was stated by Major General UK Gurung of Assam Rifles, during a function at Pallel (Chandel District) in Manipur.  Assam Rifles has deployed additional personnel, along the international border to check infiltration by the insurgents who may soon be forced to leave. It may be recalled that during the recent visit to Myanmar, the Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was assured that the Indian insurgents would be asked to leave Myanmarese soil within June 10.
