Master and operations commander
Md Abdul Latif alias Jhunu Maker were killed in a shootout between Rapid Action
Battalion (RAB) personnel and
PBCP cadres at Tebunia
in the Pabna district on July 14. Two pipe-guns and three bullets
were recovered from the encounter
site.
Separately, suspected PBCP-Marxist-Leninist
cadres killed two Jubo
Dal activists at Khalishakundi in
Daulatpur
sub-district on July 13. Police
said an armed gang of PBCP cadres
intercepted the Jubo
Dal while they were returning home in the area in a rickshaw
van from Khalishakundi
market. The gang took them to
a nearby field and shot them
point blank. |
