Maoist couple arrested in Andhra Pradesh

The Hindu reports that the police arrested Communist Party of India-Maoist’s (CPI-Maoist) ‘Sabari area committee’, Mudraboina Sampath alias Saleem alias Suryam along with his wife Jadi Sammakka alias Shakuntala, ‘commander of the Chintoor local organisational squad’, in Bhadrachalam division of Khammam district on July 14. The police found the couple in possession of explosives and INR 85,000.
