On July 15, two sympathisers of the extremist group, Revolutionary Communist
Centre (RCC) were killed by
cadres of the rival Communist
Party of India-Maoist (CPI
-Maoist) in Gogo village of Palamu district. A
group of Maoists had abducted
the two contractors, identified
as Sudhir Singh and Lalan Singh,
from their houses on July 13
night and slit their throats
with sharp weapons, Superintendent
of Police Udyan Kumar Singh
