Nine injured in bomb explosion in Balochistan province

Nine persons were wounded in a bomb explosion at Barkhan town in the Balochistan province on July 16. 

Earlier on July 15, twelve commanders owing allegiance to Nawab Akbar Bugti, surrendered before the authorities along with 80 supporters at Bekar in the Dera Bugti district. 

Daily Times has reported that the government has put two prominent members of the Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP), Senator Agha Shahid Bugti and Humayun Khan Marri, under house arrest since July 16. 

Meanwhile, security force (SF) personnel have rescued three policemen abducted by tribal militants from Nasirabad district in April 2005 from an unspecified place on July 16.
