reports that Security Forces (SFs)
shot dead two suspected underground
cadres at 8.20 pm on July 30 at
Lamdeng Khunou Chingmei near Solid
Waste Management Project located
at four kilometres north of Lamsang
Police Station in Imphal West
District. The Police recovered
one .9 mm pistol with one magazine
and two live rounds, five empty
cases of AK-47 bullets, two Chinese
made hand grenades and two mobile
handsets. The slain persons are
yet to be identified.
Meanwhile,
commandos of Imphal West District
on July 28 arrested one People's
Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak
(PREPAK)
militant, identified as WaikhomPremkumar
alias Kumar Singh, from
Majorkhul. |
