A
Chinese made hand grenade was
recovered in front of a shop at
Moirang Bazar in Bishnupur District
on August 1, reports Sangai
Express. The police retrieved
the hand grenade at around 7am.The
shop is owned by one Laishram
Sarat alias Govind (42)
of Sunusiphai Mayai Leikai.It
is suspected that the bomb was
planted the previous night.
Meanwhile,
another hand grenade was found
at the gate of the residence of
Mutum Kaleshore (35) at Bashikhong
Kitna Panung, under Irilbung Police
Station in Imphal East District.
Later, Police retrieved the bomb.
Kaleshore is a candidate of the
upcoming Gram Panchayat election. |
