Nepal Government
United States President George W. Bush Jr., following the September 11, 2001-attacks His Excellency Excellency, We are shocked to learn of the horrific acts of terrorism resulting in the incalculable loss of innocent lives and damage to property in the soil of the United States of America. Such cowardly acts violate all international norms and human dignity. They must be condemned as crimes against humanity and the perpetrators brought to justice. As a nation which has always been a strong advocate of peace, Nepal believes that all countries must join hands in combating and eliminating terrorism from the world. The Government and people of Nepal join us in conveying to your excellency and through you, to the affected families along with the Government and people of the United States of America our heartfelt condolence and sympathies in this hour of great tragedy.
