Seven cadres of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) were arrested in separate incidents in Latehar District of Jharkhand on January 5, reports The Telegraph. The arrested cadres were allegedly part of the team that ambushed and killed three home guards and an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) ranked Official of Latehar Police at Lukaiya More on NH 39 under Chandwa Police Station limits in the said District on November 22, 2019. The cadres are said to be associated with dreaded Maoist – Ravindra Ganjhu and have been identified as Baijnath Ganjhu, Kunwar Ganjhu, Rajesh Ganjhu, Sunil Ganjhu, Faguna Ganjhu, Sanjay Ganjhu and Naresh Ganjhu. They were arrested following an intelligence input that the rebels had come to collect levy from a contractor on behalf of Ravindra. First, the Police tracked down three rebels at Saroj Nagar in Chandwa block of the District. The arrested trio spilled the whereabouts of four more who were arrested later on from an unspecified location the District. The Police recovered forty live bullets that the rebels had looted from the Police, blood-stained pouches and clothes of the Police including three Aadhaar cards, three bikes, INR 500,000 which the rebels had collected as levy from a contractor named Sonu Singh in the said block.

Two tiffin bombs, suspected to have been planted by Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) were recovered in Sarguli area of Saraguli village at Raighar block in Nabarangpur District of Odisha on January 5, reports Orissa Diary. According to the report, a local youth while passing through the road in the said area noticed two suspected bombs laying on the roadside. Following which he informed the local Police, who rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area. The bomb disposal squad of Border Security Force (BSF) arrived at the spot on the following day and took the two bombs to a secluded place and defused them.

Security Force (SF) personnel engaged in anti-Naxal [Left Wing Extremism, LWE] operation recovered two bombs suspected to have planted by cadres of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) from Leteburu forests under Badinijkel Panchayat (village level local self-Government institution) in Khunti District of Jharkhand on January 9, reports The Telegraph. Of the two bombs recovered, one was a three-foot-long pipe bomb of 10 kilograms weight and another was a Can-bomb weighing a kilogram. Police said the bomb had a pressure device which could explode on weight was subsequently defused.

In a separate incident, two Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) planted by the Maoists were recovered from a place near Akameta rivulet under Chhote Bethiya Police Station limits in Kanker District of Chhattisgarh in India on January 13, reports Devdiscourse. A Security official said, “A Border Security Force (BSF) team found the two IEDs in two pressure cookers placed beneath a culvert at the aforementioned place during a de-mining operation after getting specific inputs about their presence.” The IEDs were destroyed by the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS), the official said adding that"they were planted to target SFs patrolling the route. We have also seized 16 batteries and three meters of wire from the spot.”

A joint team of District Police and Central Reserve Police Force’s (CRPF’s) 60 battalion destroyed a camp of People’s Liberation Front of India (PLFI), a splinter group of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) and arrested a cadre in Sinko forests under Bandhgaon Police Station limits in West Singhbhum District of Jharkhand on January 18, reports The Times of India. As per the report, on receiving a tip off about the presence of the PLFI cadres in the said forest, the Security Forces (SFs) had launched an anti-Naxal [Left Wing Extremism, LWE] operation. As soon as the SFs reached the forest, cadres of PLFI fired shots at them leading to an exchange of fire. "The exchange of fire lasted for about 20 minutes, resulting in the extremists fleeing from their camp. We have arrested a rebel and our interrogation is on to ascertain his identity and his involvement in extremist activities," said the Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Pranav Anand adding that SFs recovered a 9mm pistol, a single barrel gun and a few cartridges, besides items of daily use from the PLFI camp.

A woman cadre of Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) was killed in an exchange of fire with Security Forces (SFs) in a forested area between Tekalgudem and Basaguda villages in Bijapur District of Chhattisgarh on January 19, reports The Hindu. As per the report, the incident took place when a team of 168th battalion of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), a unit of its 204th CoBRA (Commando Battalion for Resolute Action) battalion and State Police were conducting an anti-Naxal [Left Wing Extremism, LWE] operation in the said area. After the exchange of fire, body of a female Maoist along with three rifles have been recovered from the spot, said the Officials adding that a search of the area is ongoing and the identity of the slain Maoist is yet to be ascertained.

The Security Forces (SFs) neutralised a camp of Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) after an exchange of fire with Maoists in Rayagada District of Odisha on January 26, reports The Times of India. According to Superintendent of Police (SP), Saravana Vivek M., on receiving a tip-off about the presence of the Maoists at a road construction site in Niyamgiri forest, a joint team of SFs launched a combing operation in the area. On seeing the SFs, the Maoists detonated three Improvised Electronic Devices (IEDs). The SFs escaped the explosion and retaliated leading to a gun-battle and subsequently destroying the Maoist camp. No injuries were reported from both sides in the incident. The SFs seized a huge cache of ammunition and other material from the camp.

Five cadres of Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) were arrested from Perimilibhatthi forest at Bhamragad area in Gadchiroli District of Maharashtra, following an exchange of fire between Maoists and the Police personnel on January 29, reports The Indian Express. The Superintendent of Police (SP), Shailesh Balkawade, said, “A C-60 team of Police had launched an anti-Naxal [Left Wing Extremism, LWE] operation on the basis of intelligence input that there was a Maoist meeting happening near the forest. An exchange of fire ensued between our parties and the Maoists numbering around 40. After about 15 minutes of exchange of fire, Maoists decamped from the spot. But the Police team followed them and five of them were arrested after a second round of exchange there.” The arrested cadres were identified as – Rainu Sonu Wadde (20),Bandu Chukku Wadde (25) – both a residents of Padmakot village of Narayanpur District of Chhattisgarh and members of Kutul Dalam (armed squad) of the State; Sukhram Soma Usendi (40), Doghe IrpaUsendi (30) – both residents of Usewada in Narayanpur District and Keye Saybi Wadde (40). The latter three cadres are the ‘militia members’ of CPI-Maoist. The Police have recovered three weapons and material from their possession.

A huge quantity of explosives was recovered from a trader suspected to be linked with Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) in Gopalpur village under Rambha Police Station limits in Ganjam District of Odishaon January 29, reports Hindustan Times. As per the report, on receiving a tip-off, a team Special Task Force (STF) raided the house of the trader identified as, Saroj Patnaik and recovered 196 quintals of ammonium nitrate, which had 99 per cent purity and was exclusively meant for industrial purposes, 3,200 gelatin sticks and 10,406 detonators. Following the recovery, the trader was arrested. The Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of STF, Jai Narayan Pankaj, said, “This is one of the largest hauls of explosives in recent times. Though the accused was apparently trying to sell the explosives to local quarry owners, we are trying to find out if the accused was in contact with Maoists. The seized materials can be ingredients for the landmines that Maoists assemble.”

The CRPF personnel recovered two pistols, 32 gelatin bombs, 27 detonators, bullets and gun powder from the spot. The seizures include one light machine gun, three INSAS (Indian Small Arms System) assault rifle, three carbine Sten guns, 1 Self Loading Rifle (SLR) rifle, a .303 rifle, one pistol, 202 rounds of 5.6 mm ammunition, 59 rounds of 7.62 ammunition, 42 rounds of 9mm ammunition, 4 Light Machine Gun (LMG) magazines, eight INSAS magazines, two SLR magazines, six carbine magazines, one 303 magazine, two VHF set cum scanner, one optical sight and a tiffin bomb along with explosive. Security Forces (SFs) had received information that Maoists were planning attacks on Police in urban areas of the District, Superintendent of Police (SP), Abhishek Pallava said. Combined teams of the Police's District Reserve Guard (DRG), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and local Police conducted raids in Kirandul, Dantewada and Geedam, rounding up nine suspects including seven minors, he said. Two of them were identified as Sodhi Bhima (29) and Sodhi Nanda (20), who were part of "action teams" of Maoists while three girls were members of the rebels' `Jan militia', Pallava said. Remaining four minors were released as they were found to have no connection with Maoists, the SP said. Bhima and Nanda, carrying a reward of Rs 2 lakh each on their heads, were allegedly involved in the killing of a villager in Nilawaya forests on January 31, planting Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) to target SFs in Potali area during the recent Panchayat (village level local self-Government institution) polls, and attacks on Police and CRPF personnel, the official added. Maoist literature, a detonator and 100 gm gun powder were recovered from their possession, he said. The three ‘Jan Militia’ (Maoists people’s army) members, aged 12-17 years, were allegedly involved in reconnaissance of SFs and planting explosives and iron spikes to target them, Pallava said. Six other CRPF personnel, including an officer, were also injured in the encounter. According to the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Sundarraj P., separate teams of Security Forces (SFs) comprising the 151st and 204th battalions of the Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA), had launched a counter-insurgency operation in the Maoist core areas of Sukma and Bijapur Districts on February 9. On the following day, personnel of the CoBRA, while advancing through the said forested area came under fire from the Maoists, triggering a gun-battle between the two sides, the IGP said, adding that two constables were killed in the gunfight, while six others sustained injuries. The body of a slain Maoist along with a weapon was recovered from the encounter spot, said the IGP, adding that the identity of the deceased was yet to be ascertained.

Based on a tipoff about the movement of the Maoists in the region, a joint team of the District Voluntary Force (DVF), Special Operations Group (SOG) and the Border Security Force (BSF) had launched a combing operation in Panabadi, Kamalabandh, Bailguda and Urlapadu area in the District, bordering Andhra Pradesh. But as the police and para-military forces reached, the rebels started firing at the troops. After an initial exchange of fire from both the sides for about an hour, the naxals [Left Wing Extremists, LWEs] started backtracking and finally fled the scene." After the rebels fled the scene, the SFs carried out a search operation and found the bullet-ridden bodies of three women Maoists,beside those bodies were lying three rifles."During the search, we found over 500 rounds of bullets, arrow bombs, two IEDs (Improvised Explosive Devices), medicines, naxal literature from the scene, suggesting that the rebels belonging to Suresh Munda squad of the CPI-Maoist were at the Chirung village for motivating the villagers for joining the naxalism," SP, Mahatha pointed out.Intelligence sources maintained that the Naxalshave once again started influencing the local residents to come to the fold of the naxalism, said a senior intelligence officer. The Security Forces (SFs) recovered four Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) and petrol bombs planted by the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadres from a place between Bodli and Malewahi villages under Barsoor Police Station limits in Dantewada District of Chhattisgarh on May 15, reports Outlook India. According to the Superintendent of Police (SP) Abhishek Pallava, a team of SFs was on patrol to provide protection to a road construction project. While patrolling the SFs found the IEDs and the petrol bombs. “The patrolling team found the IEDs, each weighing around 5 kilograms. The IEDs were connected to batteries and antenna to trigger a blast through remote control. The antenna was placed on the top of a tree so that remote can be used in detonating the blast from a far range,” the SP said adding that “the Maoists have possibly used such techniques for the first time to target security forces in Bastar region.”

As per the report, the incident took place when a team of Special Task Force (STF) was out on a search operation following an input that a group of PLFI cadres have been spotted in the area. The Superintendent of Police (SP) Sanjeev Kumar said, “One PLFI cadre has been gunned down by the STF while another member of the group, who claims himself as Area Commander of Bano area in Simdega, Praveen Kandulna, has received serious bullet injuries and has been rushed to the hospital.” The Police officials informed that five cadres have also been arrested and huge caches of arms and ammunition including one AK-47, four rifles, one county made pistol along with a huge number of live cartridges have also been recovered from their possession. While Istam carried a cash reward of INR 800,000; Maata had a reward of INR 100,000 on his head. According to the Superintendent of Police (SP) Abhishek Pallava, on receiving a specific input that 20 Maoists, led by Mallesh, commander of platoon 16 and Istam, was on the move, and area committee members - Ajay and Murli were with them in the said area, a team of District Reserve Guard (DRG) was out on a counter-insurgency operation. The Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadres exchanged fire with Security Forces (SFs) following the recovery of 60 Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) from two separate locations under Goilkera Police Station limits in West Singhbhum District of Jharkhand on June 12, reports The Times of India. The first recovery was made after teams comprising District Police, Jharkhand Jaguar (JJ) and a Battalion of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) stumbled upon a codex wire planted along the Kuida-Hatiburu road during a patrol. Upon digging out the area, 40 live IEDs, including can bombs and cooker bombs, planted in a series circuit, were recovered. The second recovery of 20 IEDs were made from Merelgora area in the District. While the SFs were busy removing the bombs, Maoists opened fire, resulting in retaliatory fire from the SFs, following which the rebels retreated. The Superintendent of Police (SP), Indrajeet Mahatha said the search operation in the area was launched earlier in the day on a tip-off about the movement by Maoists in the forest cover of Goilkera and Sonua Police station areas.

As per the report, the trio was arrested when they were about to leave for the Kanaudi forest to supply food material to the Maoists. The Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), Anup Kumar, said that Saryu and his family have been providing shelter and supplying food material to CPI-Maoists for the last one decade. “Saryu also took part in a few major operations carried out by the banned outfit,” he added. A Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) ‘commander’, identified as David alias Umesh, was injured and arrested after an exchange of fire with Security Forces (SFs) in a forested area along Katenga-Pendridih road in Rajnandgaon District of Chhattisgarh on July 1, reports Hindustan Times. The Superintendent of Police (SP) Jitendra Shukla said, “a Police team was out of an anti-Maoist operation in the said location and sensing presence of security personnel the Maoists opened fire. The encounter lasted for about 30 minutes after which the Maoists fled from the spot. A search operation was initiated after the encounter and we arrested David who was injured and tried to run away but was caught after a short chase in Khobha village.” David – a native of Gadchiroli District of Maharashtra, was one of most wanted Maoists of newly formed MMC (Maharashtra-Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh) of CPI-Maoist. An AK-47 rifle, three magazines, 54 live cartridges, one pistol, one walkie-talkie set, medical items and other items of daily use and Rs 772 cash was also recovered from his procession. As per the report, acting on a tip-off about the presence of a group of Maoists, a SOG team launched an operation in the forest area on June 29. However, the Maoists managed to sense the Police operation and fled from the area, leaving behind explosives and literature. The Superintendent of Police (SP) Prateek Singh said, “We had information that Area Commander Dasrup, Mamata, Aakash, Suryan, and some other cadre were present there.” Police recovered 15 kilograms of explosives containing urea, gunpowder and other substances, 28 detonators, multimeters, bags, blackcaps, rechargeable batteries, camp equipment, Maoist banners, posters and literature.

Two District Reserve Guard (DRG) troopers were injured in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) explosion triggered by the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadres in a forest under Katekalyan Police Station Limits in Dantewada District of Chhattisgarh on July 6, reports Outlook. According to a Police official, the incident took place when a DRG team was returning to base after destroying a Maoist transit camp. The Security Forces (SFs) also recovered six IEDs from two separate places in the same operation. “Acting on a tip-off about a Naxal [Left Wing Extremist, LWE] transit camp in the forest near Marjum village, a DRG team launched an operation on the night of July 5. When the team reached the spot, on July 6 morning, Naxals had fled leaving behind three IEDs, each weighing five kilograms.” the official said adding that “later on the way back, they recovered three IEDs, each weighing two kilograms, in Kalepal. Meanwhile, two personnel came in contact with a pressure IED connection, triggering a blast in which both sustained minor injuries. Security Forces (SFs) recovered a cache of arms and ammunition from three Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) dumps in a hill located between Dhobedalli, Mangikholi and Chhuipani villages under Gatapar Police Station limits in Rajnandgaon District of Chhattisgarh on July 12, reports The Pioneer. In one incident, Maoists exchanged fire with a team of Police in the forest near Thokkuguda village of Thiryani Mandal (administrative sub-division) in Komaram Bheem Asifabad District on July 14. No casualties were reported on any side and the Maoists escaped taking advantage of the dense forest. The Superintendent of Police (SP) Vishnu S. Warrier said, “around 10.30 p.m. on July 14, when Police parties were searching in Thokkuguda village, a Maoist Dalam (armed squad) carrying AK 47 and SLR weapons attempted to fire at us and we retaliated. As a result, the Dalam fled from the scene in the dark.” Following this incident, Police arrested a Maoist sympathiser – Kova Ananth Rao of Thokkuguda in Thiryani Mandal for sheltering the Maoist Dalam. According to the SP, Kova Ananth Rao gave food and shelter to the Dalam led by State Committee member Mailarepu Adellu alias Bhaskar. In one incident, three Maoists, including two minors, were arrested after an exchange of fire between Security Forces (SFs) and Maoists in a forest near Tetam village under Katekalyan Police Station limits in Dantewada District on August 1. The Superintendent of Police (SP) Abhishek Pallava said, a joint team of the District Reserve Guard (DRG) and local Police launched an operation based on a specific input that senior Maoists had convened a meeting of people from Tetam, Tela, Jiakorta and other villages in a bid to force them to observe the Martyrs Week (July 28 to August 3) in memory of their slain leaders. When the patrolling team was near Tetam, the Maoists triggered IED (Improvised Explosive Devise) blasts and opened fire on SFs that led to the gun-battle. When the gun fell silent, the SFs arrested Hidma Madvi (23), a ‘jan militia member’ along with a 15-year-old girl and a boy aged 16. Also, detonators, Maoist banners, fire crackers, medicines and items of daily use were recovered from the spot, the SP said adding that “the minor girl was part of the Chetna Natya Mandli (cultural wing of Maoists) while the boy was active as a ‘militia member’. All the three were allegedly tasked with arranging commodities of daily use for senior cadres, spreading Maoist propaganda, damaging roads and conducting reconnaissance on police.” In other incidents, two Maoists, identified as Mahesh Yadav (32) and Manku Modiyam (32) were arrested from separate places in Bijapur District of Chhattisgarh on August 1. While Yadav was arrested from Tindodi village under Bhairamgarh Police Station limits, Modiyam was arrested from Chilnar village under Bijapur Police Station limits in the District. A Police officer said, Yadav was involved in the killing of Policeman -Somaru Poyam and injuring his parents at their house in Matwada village on July 1. On the other hand, Modiyam was wanted for killing a Police official and snatching his AK-47 rifle in Pamalwaya area in the District in 2011.

As per the Police, the nexus between Maoists and cannabis traders came to the fore after the arrest of one Kolakani Kamesh from Maddigaruvu area in Gangaraju Madugula Mandal (administrative sub-division) in the District on August 5. “We always knew Maoists collect levy from ganja traders. Now we have come to know that they are into ganja cultivation too,” said Satish Kumar, Officer on Special Duty (OSD), anti-Maoist operations. Kamesh was arrested by Gangaraju Madugula Police on August 5, and INR 1,76,000 in cash, 24 kilograms of ganja, two steel carriages, 10 detonators, nuts and bolts were recovered from his residence. Kamesh, during interrogation, accepted that he had been working for Maoists for the last four years. On seeing the SFs, the Maoists opened fire leading to a gun-battle. The Maoists, however, managed to escape taking advantage of the dense forest and heavy rainfall, the Police said adding that four Maoist camps were neutralised and live ammunition as well as empty cartridges, Maoist literature written in Hindi and Odia, among other articles were recovered from the spot. Based on his revelations during interrogation, in another incident, the Security Forces (SFs) launched search operations in Masalia and Shikaripara Police Station areas in Dumka District and recovered one Self- loading Rifle (SLR), three INSAS rifles, one carbine, 357 cartridges and 1,675 detonators. As per the report, the raids followed the arrests of Maoist ‘commanders’ – Jitrai Munda and Jogen Purty in Khunti District on August 23. They had during interrogation revealed the rebels’ plans to attack the Police and Paramilitary Forces in Kuchai in Seraikela-Kharsawan and Tamar in Ranchi District. The Seraikela-Kharsawan District Superintendent of Police (SP) Mohammed Arshi said, the Maoists had laid can bombs in large numbers at Raisindri hill in Kuchai to inflict casualties to the Police and Paramilitary Forces during their anti-insurgency operations. He said that apart from the can bombs, the rebels had also kept rifles and ammunition hidden in Jharjhara hills at Tamar in Ranchi district for use against the Forces. “Munda and Purty, whom the Khunti Police had arrested on August 23, had said during interrogation that Naxal leaders – Anal, Ashim, Amit Munda, Atul and Maharaja Pramanik are active in Seraikela-Kharsawan, West Singhbhum and Tamar in Ranchi district, where IEDs had been laid. The duo had also pointed out the places where the rebel leaders had kept rifles and ammunition hidden. On getting the information, a joint team of Khunti, Ranchi, West Singhbhum and Seraikela-Kharsawan Police conducted extensive searches. By August 25 morning, we had found all the bombs and firearms the two rebels had spoken of,” said the SP. Three Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadres, including two women, were killed in an exchange of fire with Police personnel in Chennapuram forest area under Charla Police Station limits in Bhadradri Kothagudem District of Telangana on September 23, reports The New Indian Express. As Police personnel were combing the said area, several Maoists came into a face-off with the forces. When asked to surrender, the Maoists opened fire at the Police team, forcing the latter to open fire in self-defense, resulting in the death of three Maoists. While the remaining cadres managed to escape taking advantage of the dense forest, Police recovered one 8 mm rifle, blasting materials and other items from the spot. There were no casualties or injuries on the security personnel side. Sources said Tippagarh Local Organizational Squad (LOS) and Platoon 15 were present at the place when they were surrounded by the commandos. The encounter lasted for around 45 minutes following which the Maoists started retreating, later, the slain bodies of five Maoists, their pittoos (rucksucks), one INSAS (Indian Small Arms System) assault rifle and two other firearms were recovered from the encounter site. Apart from Tippagarh Dalam (armed squad), Korchi Dalam too was present at the site. Two cadres of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist), including a woman, were killed in a gun battle with Security Forces (SFs) in the Singavaram forest under Gajalmamudi area in Swabhiman Anchal in Malkangiri District of Odisha on December 12, reports The Times of India. The slain woman cadre, who was in uniform, appeared to be holding an important position, and the other, who has been identified as D Ramesh, was a CPI-Maoist ‘area commander’, Director general of Police (DGP), Abhay said. SFsrecovered one INSAS (Indian Small Arms System) assault rifleand one Self Loading Rifle (SLR)along with a few rounds of bullets among other materials which also included some Maoist literature.

Two women cadres of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist)were shot dead in an encounter with Security Forces (SFs) in Borevan forest in Kirnapur in Balaghat District of Madhya Pradesh on December 12, reports The Times of India.ADG-Naxal operations G P Singh said, “Those killed have been identified as Savitri and Shoba, members of Darrekasa and Malajkhand Dalams [armed squads]. They were on our ‘wanted’ list. One of them was killed around 12.30am. The other one was injured but took position and opened fire. It went on for 45 minutes. The bodies have been recovered.” Balaghat,Inspector General of Police (IGP), K P Venkateshwar Rao told TOI that Savitri and Shobha were area committee members and were in the region for logistics. An INSAS (Indian Small Arms System) assault rifle was recovered. Documents seized reveal that three dalams are carrying out joint operations in the region.

A ‘sub-zonal commander’ of Tritiya Sammelan Prastuti Committee (TSPC), a splinter group of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist), identified as – Vinod Yadav, was killed in an exchange of fire with Security Forces (SFs) near Serak village under Chandwa Police Station limits in Latehar District of Jharkhand on December 16, reports The New Indian Express. The SFs recovered one AK-47 rifle from the spot.“A search operation was being conducted in the region, during which the Maoists opened fire on the security forces who in return retaliated and gunned down a TSPC Maoist,” said SP Prashant Anand. The rest of the Maoists escaped as they could not withstand the firing from the forces, the Superintendent of Police (SP) Prashant Anand said adding that one AK-4 7, along with a large number of live cartridges, blankets, shoes, bags, and other articles used in day-t-day life have also been recoveredfrom the spot.
