According to reports, those arrested were identified as Rajan Budha Magar (24) and Manendra Rokka (22) both from Jelbang Village Development Committee-1 (VDC) of Rolpa District. District Police Office, Parvat, said that a United States (US) made revolver and six rounds of ammunitions among other weapons were found in duo's possession. It also said that investigation showed that Magar was a cadre of YCL’s Awadh Madhesh State Committee.

He will be brought to the state in a day or two. Meanwhile, enraged by the arrest of its leader, the BW called for an indefinite bandh in southern Dima Hasao District (erstwhile North Cachar Hills District) beginning on July 4, demanding immediate release of Niranjan Hojai and the outfit ‘chairman’ Jewel Garlosa, currently in judicial custody. BW warned of fresh violence in the District if the two leaders were not released immediately. The NIA was on the lookout of Niranjan Hojai since he went missing from a camp set up by the Assam Government in the District, where Hojai and cadres of the BW where required to stay under the Suspension of Operation agreement signed by the outfit with the Government.
