Former cadres of DHD threatened to take to the
path of agitation in protest against the delaying attitude of
both the Central and State Governments in implementing the MoS
even after elapse of several years of signing along the dotted
line, disclosed Dilip Nunisa, former chairman of DHD. He said
the MoS was signed on October 8, 2012. But even after repeated
persuasion by former DHD leaders, not a single clause of the MoS
was implemented, following which the former DHD cadres have lost
confidence on the Government. The Ex-DHD cadres, well-wishers
and others have organized a get together where more than three
hundred cadres from different parts of the Dima Hasao took part
along with former DHD leaders Jewel Gorlosa, who is also the member
