SFs arrested four top cadres of NSCN-U from
Tirap District. The arrested cadres have been identified as
'sergeant major' Ahon Honwang Josak, S 'minister' Vito Awomi,
Lonwang H Lowang and Lokwang Khete. During the operation, on
being verbally challenged, the militants fired upon the security
forces and on retaliatory fire by SFs, Ahon sustained bullet
injury. Cache of arms, ammunition and other incriminating goods
were recovered by SFs.
