2005

December 28: Four civilians are killed by unidentified militants at Panbari in the Khowai subdivision of West Tripura district.

November 21: One civilian and three BSF personnel are killed and six others sustain injuries in an ambush by the NLFT at Chandrakantapara under Raisyabari police station in the Dhalai district. Another civilian is also killed by unidentified militants in the Kamalpur area of Dhalai district.

November 15: Suspected NLFT militants kill three women and injure two other villagers at Bambpur under Birganj police station in the South Tripura district.

October 26: NLFT militants kill two police personnel and injure another during an ambush at Nandakumarpara under Champahowar police station in the West Tripura district.

September 25: NLFT militants kill eight non-tribal villagers, including four women and two children, and injure three others at Debnath Para in the West Tripura district.

April 25: Three police personnel are killed and four others sustain injuries during an ambush by ATTF terrorists at Naraynabari under Jirania police station in the West Tripura district.

January 13: Two paramilitary troops are killed and another is wounded during an ambush by the NLFT at Thalibari in the South Tripura district.

2004

December 28: Suspected terrorists belonging to the Biswamohan Debbarma faction of the outlawed NLFT kill at least 16 Territorial Army personnel and injure three others during an ambush at Agumabari in the South Tripura district.

October 20: NLFT terrorists kill four persons in two incidents at Dabbari and Kucchuchara villages in Dhalai district.

July 2: Suspected NLFT-B terrorists kill three male members of a family who had been to the forest area in search of firewood at Burburia in the South Tripura district.

June 14: NLFT terrorists belonging to the Biswamohan Debbbarma faction abduct 24 traders after waylaying two trucks at Quairi village in the North Tripura district.

May 17: Six BSF personnel, including an Assistant Commandant, are killed in an ambush laid by terrorists of the Biswamohan Debbarma faction of the NLFT at Thalcherra-Gobindabari road in the Dhalai district.

April 13: ATTF terrorists kill four Border Security Force (BSF) personnel and injure two others during an ambush at Subolkobrapara in the West Tripura district.

March 20: ATTF terrorists kill five persons, including an assistant manager of a brick kiln and four labourers, and injure two others in Champaknagar under Jirania police station area in the West Tripura district.

March 13: A CPI-M supporter and three of his family members are killed by a group of ATTF terrorists at Lembucherra in the Dhalai district.

January 3: Five Border Security Force (BSF) personnel are killed and six others sustain injuries in an ambush by the NLFT at Raishabari in South Tripura.

2003

April 8: Five persons, including a woman and a child, are killed and eight more injured in an attack by National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT) on a private gathering at Jagabandhpura, Dhalai district.

March 29: Five security force personnel and two civilians are killed in an ambush laid by NLFT terrorists at Sindukumarpara under Manu police station in the Dhalai district.

February 5: NLFT terrorists kill two Communist Party of India- Marxist (CPI-M) activists in the Dhalai district

January 26: 11 persons, including five women, are killed by NLFT terrorists at a CPI-M election rally in Mandai village, West Tripura district.

2002

October 26: ATTF terrorists kill eight civilians, including three women and a child, and injure nine others in Battila, West Tripura district.

October 9: NLFT terrorists kill nine security force personnel in an ambush in Raishabari, Dhalai district.

August 20: Suspected National Liberation Front of Tripura-Nayanbasi Jamatiya (NLFT-N) terrorists kill 20 Tripura State Rifles personnel and injure four others in an ambush at Hirapur, West Tripura district.

August 2: Suspected NLFT terrorists kill four CPI-M activists in Chandipur, Kanchanpur sub-division, North Tripura district.

July 26: An NLFT ambush at Debendra Sardarpara in West Tripura district kills six security force personnel escorting a group of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) field staff, an NLFT terrorist and a civilian driver.

February 5: NLFT terrorists kill six tribals belonging to the Gana Mukti Parishad at Paschim Nalicherra, Dhalai district.

January 13: Sixteen persons are killed by NLFT terrorists at Singicherra in West Tripura district.

2001

September 18 Five NLFT-N (Nayanbashi Jamatiya) terrorists and a civilian killed in internecine conflict between NLFT-N and NLFT-B (Biswamohan Debbarma) at Takarjala in West Tripura district.

September 2: NLFT kills six persons of the Jamatiya tribe in South Tripura district, including three CPI-M leaders.

July 30: Three divisional committee members of CPI-M are killed by NLFT at the Longthoraivally subdivision of Dhalai district

May 27: A Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and two terrorists are killed in an attack by the All Tripura Tiger Force (ATTF) on the Tripura Tribal Area Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) headquarters at Khumulawng in Jirania.

April 9: Five persons, including four paramilitary personnel of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), are killed and four others are injured in an ambush by unidentified terrorists at the Tulabagan area of West Tripura district.

March 21: 11 persons, including four Border Security Force (BSF) personnel are killed in an ambush by suspected NLFT terrorists.

March 3: Thirteen persons, including 11 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel, are killed in an ambush by suspected All Tripura Tiger Force terrorists at Bampur in South Tripura district.

February 20: Congress legislator Madhusudan Saha is shot dead by unidentified terrorists near his residence in Agartala.

January 26: Unidentified terrorists kill eight woodcutters in a jungle near Simulchara, West Tripura district.

2000

November 19: 14 persons are killed by suspected NLFT terrorists at Borahaldi in North Tripura district.

October 27: Five civilians, including a child, are killed by suspected NLFT terrorists in Debendra Sardarapara, West Tripura district.

July 9: NLFT terrorists raid the headquarters of the Mizoram-based outfit, Bru National Liberation Front (BNLF), in the Jampui Hills across Bangladesh and kill 70 BNLF cadres, including some top leaders.

May 17-20: Terrorists belonging to NLFT and United Bengali Liberation Front (UBLF) massacre 45 persons in separate incidents in the West Tripura district.

May 18: Seven persons, including four women, are killed by NLFT terrorists in South Tripura district.

April 20: NLFT terrorists kill eight persons at Laxmipur, North Tripura district.

April 15: NLFT terrorists kill 12 persons and injure seven others in West Tripura district.

March 24: Five security force personnel are killed in an ambush laid by NLFT terrorists at Siddhichara, Dhalai district.

1999

November 22: Eight security force personnel are killed and five others seriously injured in an ambush laid by NLFT at Banduar, South Tripura district.

November 14: Seventeen persons are killed and nine others injured in violence by ATTF terrorists at Panchabati Bazar, West Tripura district.

August 12: NLFT terrorists kill six persons at Manu, Dhalai district.

July 10: Five security force personnel are killed in an ambush laid by ATTF terrorists in Takumbari, South Tripura district.

February 2: Eight persons are killed by NLFT terrorists in the North Tripura district.

1998

October 19: Tribal terrorists kill a former Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) legislator, Ananda Mohan Raoja, in Dhalai district.

October 10: NLFT terrorists kill eight persons in West Tripura district.

March 31: NLFT terrorists assassinate the Sate Health Minister, Bimal Sinha, in an ambush in Abhanga, Dhalai district. The Minister's brother too dies in the incident.

1997

November 7: Nine security force personnel and 11 other persons are killed in a bomb blast, allegedly set off by NLFT terrorists, in Dhalai district.

February 12: Tribal terrorists kill 16 persons at Bishalgarh, South Tripura district.

1995

September 15: NLFT terrorists lay an ambush in South Tripura district and kill three security force personnel.

1993

September 20: Seven security force personnel are killed and nine others injured in an attack by NLFT terrorists on a police station in North Tripura district.

May 25: Four Tripura State Rifles personnel and two other persons are killed in an ambush by the ATTF near Dalpatipara, South Tripura district.

1992

December 31: ATTF terrorists kill three Border Security Force personnel in an ambush near Dalpatipara, South Tripura district.
