Police recovered as many as 100 booby traps (iron spikes fixed to a wooden plank), planted by the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadres, during combing operations in the forests of Telangana-Chhattisgarh borders on January 15, reports Telangana Today. The booby traps were planted in around 78 pits dug at a distance of one kilometer in the north-west direction of Pusuguppa village under Cherla Police Station limits in Bhadradri Kothagudem District of Telangana.
