At least 18 unidentified militants were killed and 36 others were arrested following military operations and clashes in Ghazni province, reports Bhaktar News. Police chief of Ghazni Colonel Farid Mashal said that 18 terrorists were killed during clashes with Afghan security forces. The clashes took place, while the terrorists carried out massive attacks on Afghan local police and Afghan National Army personnel’ checkpoints in Alamkhail village, Muqar District of the province. Mashal added that 36 anti-government militias were arrested during military operation led by Afghan security forces in Bazar Kamal region, Andar district of Ghazni province. Taliban top commanders were among the dead and arrested terrorists, Mashal concluded.
