Security Forces (SFs) found an Improvised explosive device weighing 25-30 Kg at Tahab crossing on Circular Road area of Pulwama District in Jammu and Kashmir on August 10 (today), reports Daily Excelsior. Additional Director General of Police, Kashmir Zone, Vijay Kumar said that IED weighing around 30 kg has been detected by SFs on inputs of Pulwama Police. Following which a bomb disposal squad was rushed to the area and neutralised it.
Separately, an old and rusted grenade was defused by the experts of a bomb disposal squad in Manjakote area of Rajouri District on August 9, reports Kashmir Observer. The grenade was spotted on the banks of a stream at Ghambir Mughlan in Manjakote area by some villagers who informed the local Police Station.
