61 suspects arrested for allegedly having links to the banned terror group, National Thowheed Jamaath (NTJ) after the Easter Sunday terror attacks, were on February 11 further remanded until February 28, reports Daily News. The suspects, residents of Kattankudy, were taken into custody in the aftermath of the Easter Sunday attacks for undergoing weapons training at the NTJ Headquarters. The suspects were arrested on suspicion of having links to the NTJ following the Easter attacks. They were produced before the Batticaloa Acting Magistrate and were ordered to be further remanded.
