An Army Havaldar was killed and another injured in Cease Fire Agreement (CFA) violations by Pakistan army in forward areas of Sher Tikri and Dadal in Sunderbani sector in Rajouri District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) on June 4, reports Daily Excelsior. The slain Army Havaldar has been identified as Mathiazhagan P and the injured as Havaldar M M Karan. The Indian side retaliated effectively inflicting heavy losses on Pakistan side.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Rangers pounded the residential areas with heavy firing, damaging over a dozen houses, in Kathua-Samba belt along the International Border (IB) in Hiranagar sector in Kathua District of J&K on June 4, reports Daily Excelsior. The Border Security Force (BSF) troops guarding the borderline retaliated to the Pakistani firing, officials said, adding there were no reports of any casualties as of now.
Separately, Pakistan Army fired at people engaged in constructing a road, connecting a cremation ground situated near the IB in Arnia sector in Jammu District of J&K on June 4, reports Daily Excelsior. Officials said, JCBs and tractors used for ferrying dug out soil from the area were targeted, however, there were no reports of any casualties as of now.
