The officials of 136th Battalion of the Border Security Force [BSF] on December 15, recovered three packets of heroin weigh 1.5 kg in total, worth INR 2.5 crore, from near the Barreke Border outpost of the India-Pakistan International Border in the Ferozepur Sector of Punjab, reports The Tribune. During a search operation carried out near the Border outpost, the BSF officials have recovered heroin covered with bricks and plastic bags. Since January 2018, the BSF personnel have recovered 204.32 kg of heroin along with the India-Pakistan International Border in Punjab.
