A civilian, who was injured in a Cease Fire Agreement (CFA) violation by Pakistani troops along the Line of Control (LoC) in Tangdhar sector in Kupwara District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) in India last week, succumbed to his injuries on August 13 (today), reports Daily Excelsior. Mohammad Yaqoob Mir, resident of Bagh Bella Kachaida in Karnah sector was injured in the Pakistani firing on August 7.
Meanwhile, Pakistani army violated CFA by using heavy fire and mortar shells to target forward areas along the LoC in Rajouri District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) in India on August 12, reports Daily Excelsior. Defence spokesman said, “At about 1950 hours today, the Pak army initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing with small arms & shelling with mortars along the LoC in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district.” The Indian Army retaliated befittingly, he added.
