The Communist Party of Nepal-Unified Marxist-Leninist (CPN-UML) has been registered in the Election Commission (EC) on August 9, for the purpose of upcoming elections to the House of Representatives (HoR) and Provincial Assembly, reports My Republica. CPN-UML leaders and cadres visited the EC Office at Kantipath in Kathmandu to submit the party's application for the registration purpose. CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel said his party is not forging an electoral alliance without a purpose.
