To scale up anti-Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) operations, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) recently opened two new Forward Operating Bases (FOBs) in Elmagunda and Potakpalli areas in Sukma District of Chhattisgarh, reports The Print on May 25. These new FOBs will help the CRPF to penetrate deeper into the forested areas affected by the Left Wing Extremism (LWE) to improve road connectivity and facilitate other Central schemes.
