Curfew was completely lifted from Shillong in East Khasi Hills District of Meghalaya on March 8 while it will continue to be in place in the Sohra region of East Khasi Hills, reports The Telegraph. With improving scenario, curfew hours were relaxed in places such as Khyndailad, Ïewduh in East Khasi Hills District of Meghalaya. Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma stated that “In the past 24 hours there has not been any incident and we will review it again on the different curfew timings that have been imposed. Overall, the situation in the state is very much under control. No incident had taken place and things have been quite peaceful,”
