Four more Indian soldiers were killed in an exchange of fire as Army foiled a major infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara forests at Keran sector in Kupwara District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) on April 5, reports Daily Excelsior. The slain soldiers have been identified as Subedar Sanjeev Kumar, Havaldar Davendra Singh, Para trooper Bal Krishan, Para trooper Amit Kumar and Chhatrapal Singh. The identity of the militants is yet to be established. Earlier, South Asia Terrorism Portal (SATP) had reported the Security Forces (SFs) killed five militants attempting to infiltrate across the LoC at Keran sector in Kupwara District of J&K, while one soldier was also killed and two others were injured on April 5.
