Enforcement Directorate (ED) has seized properties of Dawood Ibrahim’s aide, Iqbal Mirchi and his family worth INR 220 million, dnaindia.com reports on October 21. The action by ED was taken under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). A total of seven properties have been seized including a hotel, an under-construction hotel, a cinema hall, one farmhouse, two bungalows and three and a half acres of land at Panchgani in Mahabaleshwar (Maharashtra). This comes as the process of auctioning the properties of Dawood Ibrahim and his brother Iqbal Kaskar has already started. It will be auctioned online on November 10, 2020 in Mumbai.
