An exchange of fire took place between the troopers of 26th battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and the cadres of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) in a dense forest of Lugupahari near Dakasadam village under Jageshwar Bihar Police Station limits under Gomia Block in Bokaro District of Jharkhand on June 29, reports The Pioneer. More than 10 rounds of bullets were exchanged between the CRPF personnel and the Maoists. No injuries were reported in the encounter and some Maoist-related materials were recovered from the spot, said Bokaro, Superintendent of Police (SP), Chandan Jha.
