Four Army personnel were killed and two others, including a captain, were seriously injured when Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) cadres attacked an Army convoy with rockets and heavy weapons at Nihing Tank in Zamuran area of Kech District on June 30, reports Radio Zrumbesh. BLF ‘spokesman’ Major Gwahram Baloch claimed responsibility for the killing. Major Gwahram Baloch said that two gunship helicopters of the Army reached the spot immediately after the attack, a helicopter carrying the bodies and wounded soldiers returned to its headquarters while the other gunship helicopter started shelling the mountain ranges. However, cadres managed to escape.
