Security Forces (SFs) on November 25 arrested four militants during a raid in Karachi, the provincial capital of Sindh, reports ARY News. The Sindh Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) said that three of the militants belonged to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) while another hailed from Baloch Liberation Army (BLA). “They travelled from Afghanistan to Balochistan and then arrived in Karachi,” the CTD said adding that three of the TTP militants were staying at a hotel in Banaras while the fourth accomplice joined them after bringing explosive material for them. CTD recovered 60-kilogram explosive material, 16 detonators and detonating wires from their possession during the raid.
Separately, Sindh CTD arrested four Muttahida Qaumi Movement - London (MQM-London) target killers during five raids at different places in Sindh, reports ARY News. According to In-charge CTD Mazhar Mashwani, the raids were conducted in three big cities of the province. The arrested shooters were identified as Muhammad Ali, Salman, Umair and Shehzad.
