On December 8, four non-rehabilitated Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) cadres were arrested from Muthur and Sampur areas of Trincomalee District in Eastern Province while trying to rejuvenate the banned organization, reports Daily Mirror. One T56 rifle, two magazines, 61 live cartridges, one claymore mine, three live grenades, three detonators and 31 live ammunition for 9 mm pistols had been recovered from the four arrestees along with two motorcycles. For further interrogation, the four has been sent to Colombo Terrorist Investigation (CTI).
