Two persons were shot dead by unidentified assailants on Saryab Road in Chakki Shahwani area of Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan, on September 29, reports The Balochistan Post.
Separately, two militants were killed during an intelligence-based operation in the Mazaband mountains of Kech District in Balochistan on September 29, reports Samaa TV. A cache of arms and communication equipment were recovered.
Meanwhile, the Information Secretary of Balochistan Awami National Party (ANP) had gone missing on his way to Quetta on September 25, reports The Balochistan Post. According to Police, ANP leader Asad Khan Achakzai was on his way to attend the party’s provincial council meeting when his phone went switched off at Kuchlak area and his whereabouts are unknown since.
