Taliban group has said the Kabul Administration would partake as a political side in intra-Afghan negotiations, not as a government on July 28, reports Khaama Press. Taliban ‘spokesman’ Zabiullah Mujahid in a statement said that the intra-Afghan negotiations will take place once the withdrawal date of United States (US) is confirmed. Ambassador Khalilzad said in a Twitter post “Lot of chatter in Kabul about intra-Afghan negotiations. To clarify, those negotiations will occur after we conclude our own agreements and they will take place between the Taliban and an inclusive and effective national negotiating team consisting of senior government officials, key political party representatives, civil society and women.”
