Supreme Court Judge Vijith Malalgoda, Chairman of the special three-member committee appointed by President Maithripala Sirisena to investigate Easter Sunday attacks while testifying before the Parliamentary Select Committee (PSC) on August 20 told that lapses in the part of the police in disseminating intelligence information led to catastrophe on April 21, reports Colombo Page. Supreme Court Judge Vijith Malalgoda testified that the committee noted lapses on the part of the Police, in the dissemination of intelligence information. Although prior intelligence on an impending attack was received on April 5, the Security Council had not convened until the April 21, he told the PSC.
