Three handwritten posters of Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist), warning a local contractor to stop road construction works, were recovered from Bhulabheda area in Belpahari in Jhargram District of West Bengal on September 4, reports The Times of India. The Superintendent of Police (SP) Amit Kumar Bharat Rathod said, such posters were usual in Jangalmahal before 2009, when Maoists had a strong presence, and were put up to gather local support. The posters, written in red ink on white paper and bearing the CPI-Maoist name, warn a contractor – Sourav Roy to stop road construction. Roy has bagged the work order for constructing 28 kilometers of the 40 kilometers stretch from Dharsa to Paradi in the State.
