Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadres on July 25 set ablaze six vehicles of a private road construction company in Ghaghari village in Dhurki Block (administrative unit) in Garwah District of Jharkhand on July 25, reports India TV. Police said, 10 to 12 armed Maoists raided the company's camp office in Ghaghari village, assaulted the sleeping staff, poured diesel on vehicles involved in road construction work, and set them on fire. Refusal to pay the 'levy' (extortion money) to the rebels is said to be the reason for the attack.
