The cadres of Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) triggered an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) explosion on Bidarpakna road near Hantalguda village in Swabhiman Anchal (earlier known as cutoff area) under Paparmetla Block in Malkangiri District of Odisha on February 15, reports The New Indian Express. There were, however, no reports of any casualty in the incident. According to the report, the explosion took place right after the visit of senior security advisor in Union Home Ministry (UHM), K. Vijay Kumar to Swabhiman Anchal who reviewed the security situation in the region.
