A migrant worker from Bihar was shot dead by terrorists at Soadnara Sumbal in Bandipora District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) in the night of August 11, reports Daily Excelsior. The migrant worker was identified as Mohd Amrez, son of Mohd Jalil, a resident of Madhepura Besarh in Bihar.
Meanwhile, the rifleman, Nishant Malik, who was injured in the August 11 suicide attack by suspected Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorists on an Army base in Pargal located in Darhal area of Rajouri District, succumbed to his injuries, taking the toll in the attack to four, reports Daily Excelsior. Rifleman Nishant Malik belonged to Hansi town of Hisar District in Haryana. Earlier, three Army personnel, including a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO), were killed and three others, including Malik, were injured when two suicide bombers tried to gain entry into an Army post. The two terrorists were also shot dead in an encounter that ensued.
