The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has initiated the process of attaching properties belong to the Islamic State (IS) recruiter—T. Abdul Rashid Abdulla, who is accused of recruiting 20 persons from the State of Kerala to join IS, reports The Hindu on July 8. Following the instructions from the NIA Court in Ernakulum District, the officials of NIA had put up a property attachment notice at Rashid’s residence in Udumbumthala, near Trikaripur village in Kasaragod District, Kerala. The notice also directed Rashid to appear before the NIA court on August 13.
