On September 24, a militant belonging to National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Khaplang (NSCN-K) Khango faction surrendered in front of the Khonsa Battalion of Assam Rifles in a joint operation with Tirap Police in Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh, reports Northeast Now. The militant identified as Wanghong Ngowa, self-styled ‘assistant political officer’ who joined NSCN-K Khango faction in 2018.
An over ground worker (OGW) of National Socialist Council of Nagaland- Isak-Muivah (NSCN-IM) was arrested from Manmao village in Changlang District on September 21.
