Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba, Communist Party of Nepal-Maoist Centre (CPN-Maoist Centre) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Communist Party of Nepal-Unified Marxist-Leninist (CPN-UML) leader Madhav Kumar Nepal at a meeting at Madhav Nepal's Koteshwar based residence on June 14, warned Government against attempts to influence the judiciary, reports The Himalayan Times. At the joint discussion, the three former Prime Ministers decided to further strengthen the opposition alliance which was formed to challenge Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's recent political 'experiments' that have twice led to the dissolution of House of Representatives. Similarly, the opposition leaders through the meeting warned the Government not to make any attempt to influence proceedings of the Supreme Court on matters that are currently under the court's consideration or are in the hearing process. The leaders warned against any activities that could create distrust over the judiciary.
